NINON
TEEPEE STAGE
Experimental Techno
Ninon is a producer and sound artist working at the intersection of techno, experimental music, and generative practices. Her work treats sound as a physical and spatial experience, combining dense textures, cinematic atmospheres, and fragmented vocal elements into evolving live performances shaped through hardware systems and algorithmic processes. She also delivers DJ sets that are as texturally detailed as her productions, leading to powerful, uncompromising sound. Her work includes releases on labels such as Terenor Records and streaming on Sound Metaphor.
Alongside her artistic work, Ninon is active in research on creative artificial intelligence for music. She holds a PhD from IRCAM (Paris) and currently works as a research engineer at Native Instruments (Berlin), where she develops real-time neural audio synthesis and new forms of interactive musical instruments, notably through the creation of the Neurorack, the first Eurorack modular synthesizer powered by deep neural synthesis.
Her practice forms an ongoing dialogue between artistic production, scientific research, and technological development, exploring how emerging computational tools can expand sonic expression while preserving the presence and intentionality of the performer.
